Arthur 7 vs Arthur Z: Which Electric Scooter is Right for You?
At FONZ, we believe riders should have options. With the launch of the new Arthur Z Series, one big question keeps coming up: How does it compare to the Arthur 7? And more importantly: Which one’s right for me?
The answer depends on your riding style, where you live, and whether you value portability, storage, or performance most.
🛵 Arthur 7: Portable Power & Everyday Practicality
The Arthur 7 is the latest evolution of our rider-favourite Arthur series, now upgraded for 2025 with ABS and a digital display.
Its biggest strength is flexibility: with removable Powerpacks, you can charge anywhere — from a standard wall socket at home, the office, or even an apartment. That makes it the perfect choice for riders without easy access to garage or street charging.
Slim, agile, and stylish, the Arthur 7 is designed for effortless city commuting and weaving through traffic. With slightly shorter forks and smaller-diameter tyres, it also has a lower seat height of 760mm compared to the Z Series’ 775mm — making it a comfortable fit for shorter riders.
👉 Choose Arthur 7 if portability and charging convenience matter most. It’s the ultimate everyday scooter for city living.
🚀 Arthur Z Series: Power, Speed & Big-City Storage
The Z Series is our boldest scooter yet — built for performance and practicality. It comes with a fixed-footrest primary battery, plus the option to add a second portable Powerpack for long-range riding.
With the single-battery setup, you get huge under-saddle storage — enough to fit a full-face helmet and more. Add the second battery, and your range nearly doubles to 180 km, making it perfect for longer adventures (though you’ll trade some storage space).
Designed for the open road, the Z Series boasts a top speed of 100 km/h, rapid acceleration, and the confidence of a true 300cc rival — at a fraction of the running cost. Its slightly larger frame and 775mm seat height make it ideal for taller riders, though both models can be fitted with a handlebar riser (we have customers up to 6ft5 comfortably riding the Arthur).
👉 Choose Arthur Z if you’re chasing performance, longer rides, and the practicality of big storage with fast-charging capability.
