Ride on a car licence
The Moped is FONZ’s answer for riders in WA, QLD, SA and NT who can ride on a car licence. With a speed limiter at 50 km/h, it’s restricted in speed but not in punch — delivering full torque and market-leading performance up to the limit. Take the LR version for double the range, or step up to the Arthur 7 Performance for the same thrill at 50 km/h with extra stamina.
Speed 50km/h or 65km/h
You can ride on a car licence in some states when your scooter is speed limited to 50 km/h. This is classified as a 'moped' category vehicle.
Otherwise, if speed is derestricted you will get a maximum speed of 65km/h, and require a rider licence.
